The stunningly beautiful peacock dress is named after the mandarin Chinese characters Qiao Chu (“翘”“楚”) from old Chinese in Zhou Dynasty (1055-771BC). ‘Qiao’ has the uplifting, uprising and worship meanings while ‘Chu’ always refers to people and things being clear, pretty and beautiful. These words perfectly represent the peacock's gesture when opening their tails. The words ‘Qiao’ ‘Chu’ are from the Classic of Poetry in Zhou Dynasty.
